Natasja Saad / Denmark

Reggae Queen Natasja (Little T) made a lot of impression before she passed away only 32 years old in an car accident in Jamaica 2007.  Born of a Danish mother and Sudanese father she had already made a mark on the Danish music scene. She also managed to take Jamaican deejaying dancehall scene with storm as she in 2006 was the first non-Jamaican artist to win the Red Stripe Big Break contest 2006 earning her a performance at the reggae Sumfest. Check out this clip below and you’ll see how and why:

Her MySpace has since her passing away turned into the memorial site. I am not the only one impressed by her and sorry she did not get to finish a promising career. If you haven’t heard her yet here are some tunes both in Danish and Jamaican.
